Fergal Murray

Fergal Murray is an experienced industrial design engineer currently employed at Endowave since May 2021. Prior to this role, Fergal worked as an industrial design and human factors researcher at the National College of Art & Design, where collaboration with a medical device company focused on the design of connected class II medical devices. Fergal's professional background includes completing a master's major project and dissertation at Stryker, which involved the redesign of an orthopedic sports medicine implant device through the application of industrial design and human factors principles. An internship at Flying Elephant Productions allowed Fergal to engage in concept generation and development for various design projects, while earlier experience as a food and beverage assistant at Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge contributed to foundational skills. Fergal holds an M.Sc in Medical Device Design from the National College of Art & Design and a B.Sc in Product Design from Maynooth University, both with distinction.
