John Clay has a diverse work experience, primarily in engineering and leadership roles. John founded and currently serves as the CEO of Endpoint Industrial Controls, a company they established in 2019. John is also a co-founder of Colorado Enclosure Modifications since November 2020.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, John worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Origin MEC from November 2019 to April 2021. John also held the position of Automation and Controls Manager at Noble Midstream Partners LP from July 2018 to October 2019.
John spent several years at The Dow Chemical Company, where they held multiple roles including R&D Process Control Texas Operations Focal Point from January 2017 to July 2018, and Process Control System Engineer from September 2015 to July 2018.
Earlier in their career, John served as an Electrical Engineer at Tesseract Sensors from 2013 to September 2015. John also worked as a Research Geophysical Systems Engineer and later as a Student Research Electrical Engineer at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center from 2009 to 2013.
John Clay obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In March 2016, they obtained an Engineer In Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Additionally, in May 2012, they obtained another Engineer In Training certification from the State of Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers & Professional Land Surveyors.
