Eelco van Hemmen

Eelco van Hemmen is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Asset Innovation & Transformation (a.i.) at Eneco since May 2019, leading a team of over 30 change professionals to facilitate the energy transition. Previously, Eelco held several roles at Eneco, including Change Lead for Innovation & Transition Programs, focusing on Heat Delivery, and Project Leader for Verslimmen Netwerk, aimed at making the heating network future-proof in the context of reducing gas dependency in the Netherlands. Eelco's career includes significant positions as Innovatie Regisseur at Creatieve Koppen, Business Architect at Vereniging COIN, Business Integration Manager, and Senior Project Manager at Ziggo, and Manager/Consultant at BearingPoint, specializing in business strategy transformation and innovation management. Eelco began the professional journey as a Freelance Consultant while studying and holds a Master's degree in Management of Technology and Innovation from Erasmus University Rotterdam, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Technical Business Administration from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
