Operational Safety & Quality Team Lead at Eneco

Mark Geschiere has worked at multiple companies in various roles throughout their career. Mark began their professional journey in 2010 as a math teacher at Hogeschool Rotterdam. In 2011, they worked as a student assistant at TU Delft. In 2012, Mark had internships at Mammoet Salvage and Bluewater Energy Services, where they gained hands-on experience. Mark also participated in the Damen Business Course at Damen Shipyards Group.

From 2013 to 2017, Mark worked at Boskalis, starting as an Operations Management Trainee and later transitioning to roles such as a Proposal & Project Engineer and Proposal & Project Coordinator. In 2016, they joined Link Maritiem as a board member while still holding a position at Boskalis.

In 2017, Mark moved to Eneco, where they held multiple roles, including Project Coordinator, Teamleider Werkvoorbereiding & Engineering, Black Belt Operational Excellence, and currently, they are serving as the Operational Safety & Quality Team Lead.

Mark Geschiere received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2010. Mark then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Offshore Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2013. In 2011, Mark attended The University Centre in Svalbard for a short period to study Arctic Offshore Engineering. Mark further expanded their expertise by obtaining a Black Belt certification from The Lean Six Sigma Company in 2021. Their secondary education was completed at CSW Middelburg, where they earned an Atheneum diploma with a focus on Natuur & Techniek in 2007.
