Carolina Alfaro Picon

Carolina Alfaro Picon is an experienced professional with a strong background in internal audit and compliance. Currently serving as Head Auditoria & Cumplimiento at Enel Group since October 2018, Carolina leads the internal audit process and ensures effective governance within the organization. Previously, Carolina held the position of Jefe Auditoria Interna & Oficial de Cumplimiento at Haceb from May 2012 to June 2018, where responsibilities included planning and coordinating internal audit activities and developing audit methodologies. Carolina's career began at Deloitte, where from December 2007 to April 2012, involvement included senior consultancy in enterprise risk, internal audit outsourcing, and assessments of internal control systems across various industries. Carolina holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School, a specialization in Alta Gerencia from Universidad de Medellín, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
