Julio Pellegrini

Julio Pellegrini currently serves as a conciliator at the Centro Internacional de Arreglo de Diferencias Relativas a Inversiones (CIADI) since October 2023. Pellegrini has held the position of Director at Enel Generación S.A. since 2016 and has been a law professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since March 2002, teaching various subjects including competition law and economic analysis of law. Additionally, Pellegrini is a partner at Pellegrini & Cía and an arbitrator at the Centro de Arbitraje y Mediación de la Cámara de Comercio de Santiago. Active in the field of competition law, Pellegrini is also a member of the Consultative Council of the Programa Libre Competencia UC and was part of ICARE Chile's Círculo Legal until June 2023. Previous roles include serving as a counselor for SOFOFA and the Colegio de Abogados de Chile, where Pellegrini was President of the Commission of Competition from 2011 to 2019. Pellegrini holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Chicago Law School and a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
