Nafis Akram

Nafis Akram, MSEE, P.E., currently serves as the Division Manager for the Substation Engineering team at Enercon Services, Inc., overseeing P&C-engineering design, relay settings, and civil/structural design. Prior to this role, Nafis managed engineering teams at Leidos, where responsibilities included leading substation projects, performing quality control, and liaising with clients. Nafis has experience as a Graduate Researcher in Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida, focusing on power systems and smart grid technologies, and has held various engineering positions, including Relay Test Engineer and Senior Commissioning Engineer for substations and power plants. Nafis holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's degree from American International University-Bangladesh.
