Brian Freeman

Brian Freeman is the President & CEO and Co-Founder at Energesis Pharmaceuticals since 2009. Prior to this, Brian served as an Attending Physician at Boston VA Medical Center starting in 2008. Brian also has experience as a Venture Partner at GreatPoint Ventures from 2006 to 2009 and as a Founder and VP of Business Development at Zafgen from 2006 to 2008. Brian's career started as an Engagement Manager at Leerink Swann Strategic Advisors/MEDACorp from 2003 to 2006. Brian holds a BS in Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MD and MA in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and completed their Internship and Residency in Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania.
