Morten Thorup

Morten Thorup is an experienced project manager and team coordinator with a strong background in engineering and management. Currently serving as Projektchef at Energi Fyn since April 2016, Morten has led projects related to fiber networks. Prior to this role, Morten worked at FFV Energi & Miljø A/S, where responsibilities included overseeing the replacement of 14,500 electric meters and leading a team of installers. Morten has also held positions as a Maskinmester during a bachelor internship at Nordgroup a/s, focusing on optimizing pH measurements and troubleshooting inert gas systems. Previous experience includes managing a team and production as a Værkfører at Remac Smedie og Maskinfabrik, where Morten was involved in project planning and execution. Morten holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from Simac and an earlier degree in plate and construction welding.
