Burkhard Römhild

Burkhard Römhild is an experienced project manager in the energy sector, currently leading projects at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG since July 2016, including the Princess Elisabeth Zone Tender and the Mona & Morgan Offshore Wind Farms. With a track record of significant achievements, Römhild guided EnBW to become the preferred bidder for 3000 MW offshore wind capacity in the Irish Sea during the fourth licensing round in the UK. Previous roles include Senior Vice President Project Management at Nordic Yards Wismar GmbH and Head of Moorburg Power Plant at Vattenfall Europe Generation AG, where responsibilities spanned from project management and contract negotiation to stakeholder engagement and operational leadership in large-scale power projects. Römhild holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
