Jay Hayes

Jay Hayes has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Turnarounds at McKee Refinery for Valero Energy Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jay spent over six years as the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper at Valero Energy Corporation, and began a long tenure at the same company as a Refinery Unit Superintendent from 2003 to 2015. Jay's career at Valero also includes a foundational role in Operations from 1991 to 2001, following an early position as a Plumbers Helper at MMM Plumbing in early 1991.
