Nicky Ferguson

Nicky Ferguson has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. In 2015, they started working as a Quantitative Strategist & Trader at Koch Supply & Trading. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Energy Trader at BKW AG. In 2021, they joined Statkraft as a Senior Oil Trader. In 2022, Nicky founded their own company called Its Not A Science (INAS), which was later acquired by Energy Aspects in April 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Quantitative Research at Energy Aspects.

Nicky Ferguson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Durham University between 2008 and 2011. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Finance between 2011 and 2012. Continuing their studies at Cambridge, Nicky Ferguson completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Finance from 2012 to 2015.
