Hamed al Brashdi

Hamed Al Brashdi is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the energy and utility sectors. Currently serving as General Counsel at Energy Development Oman since July 2023, Hamed has held the position of Head of Legal at Daleel Petroleum LLC since January 2015 and was previously a Legal Counsel at Petroleum Development Oman from June 2008 to January 2015, providing comprehensive legal support and contract management. Prior experience includes serving as a Legal Officer at Mazoon Electricity Company S.A.O.C from March 2006 to June 2008, where Hamed advised on governance and compliance matters, and as a Legal Researcher at the Supreme Court from March 2003 to April 2006. Hamed holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a focus on Corporate and Contracting Law from Sultan Qaboos University, completed between 1998 and 2002.
