John Hester

John Hester possesses over 20 years of experience in offshore drilling, currently seeking new opportunities. Since February 2017, John has worked with various drilling units, including Jack-ups in the Gulf of Mexico and Semi Tenders in West Africa, Malaysia, and Brazil. Previous roles include OIM for Energy Drilling Pte Ltd and BassDrill, where responsibilities encompassed management of daily operations, regulatory compliance, and safety assurance. Earlier in the career, John held driller and tour pusher positions with Smedvig/Seadrill and Marine Drilling. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Animal/Livestock Husbandry and Production from Texas State Technical College and a certificate of completion from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, in Engineers through the U.S. Army.
