Dan Kapostasy's work experience begins in 2003 as a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, where they taught various geology classes and assisted with a field camp in Utah. In 2006, they worked as an Environmental Engineer I at QinetiQ North America and as a Geotechnical Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI).

From 2008 to 2013, Dan worked at Strathmore Minerals Corporation as a Development Geologist. During this time, they oversaw field activities, managed junior geologists, produced maps, and developed geologic models for uranium mining projects in New Mexico and British Columbia.

Since 2013, Dan has been working at Energy Fuels Inc. Dan started as a Geologist, performing resource modeling and geostatistical analysis for uranium mines in multiple states. Dan also participated in permitting activities, conducted GIS analyses, and provided maps for development projects. Dan then took on roles as Chief Geologist of Conventional Mining and Technical Services Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technical Services.

Dan Kapostasy completed their Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science, General at the University of Dayton from 1999 to 2003. Dan then pursued a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science, General at The Ohio State University from 2003 to 2005. In 2012, they participated in a Citation Program in Applied Geostatistics at the University of Alberta.
