Brian Ssebabi

Brian Ssebabi is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Energy Infrastructure Asset Manager at Energy Group since April 2023. Prior to this role, Ssebabi worked as a PV Engineer at Solar Capital (Pty) Ltd, managing engineering and performance aspects of solar PV power plants. Ssebabi also held the position of O&M Asset Manager at New Southern Energy, focusing on optimizing solar power plant portfolios and overseeing various operational responsibilities. Previous roles include consultancy at Sustainable Energy Africa, junior lecturing at Stellenbosch University, and engineering positions at Total Uganda Limited and Kobil Uganda Limited. Ssebabi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University and has completed a short course in Financial Modeling and Analysis at the University of Cape Town.
