Steven Kantowitz

Steven Kantowitz is a Partner at Energy Impact Partners (EIP). Steven is focused on private equity and late-stage growth investing across software, services, industrials and financial services.

Steven has more than a decade of energy and climate investing experience. He started his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse, where he focused on mergers & acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions for power and utility clients. After that, he spent nearly a decade at Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, where he focused on energy investing, primarily on power and renewables transactions. Steven join EIP in 2022 in an effort to help drive additional growth through later-stage growth and private equity investing.

Steven received a BS, summa cum laude in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children.
