Michelle Solomon

Michelle Solomon currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at Energy Innovation Policy and Technology LLC since September 2021, previously holding the position of Policy Analyst in the United States Congress as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow from September 2020 to September 2021. Solomon completed a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, where research focused on enhancing optical process efficiency through experimental and simulation-based projects. Additional experience includes a summer fellowship at the California Energy Commission, and undergraduate research roles at Boston College and the University of Chicago. Solomon's early work also encompassed sailing instruction and coaching, demonstrating leadership as Commodore at the Cotuit Mosquito Yacht Club.
