Dr. Zahra Jabiri

Dr. Zahra Jabiri serves as the Head of Regulation and Investment Assurance at Western Power, with responsibilities that include managing multi-billion dollar regulatory access and ensuring compliance with economic regulations. Dr. Jabiri also plays a significant role in delivering the Western Australian Energy Transformation Strategy. Previous positions at Western Power include Head of Asset Performance and Manager of Operational Asset Performance, emphasizing strategic management of network assets valued at $12 billion. Additionally, Dr. Jabiri represents on the Policy and Strategy Committee and Asset Management Committee at Energy Networks Australia and holds the position of Director and Board Member at 4lifeskills, a not-for-profit provider of disability support services. Dr. Jabiri has a PhD in Asset Management and a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from the University of Sydney, and has completed the Signature Program at Leadership Western Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
