Bob Schuetz

Bob Schuetz serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Energy Northwest since August 2013, leading a team focused on the operation and development of carbon-free energy resources. Previously, Bob Schuetz held various roles at Columbia Generating Station, including Site Vice President, Plant General Manager, and Maintenance Manager, overseeing all aspects of plant operations and maintenance for this significant Boiling Water Reactor. Bob Schuetz's extensive experience also encompasses military leadership positions within the United States Navy, including Chief of Staff for the Pacific Submarine Force and Commander of Submarine Squadron SEVENTEEN. Educated at institutions such as Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Harvard Kennedy School, Bob Schuetz holds degrees in Nuclear Engineering, Economics, and Engineering Management, and completed advanced military education at The United States Army War College.
