Kris Stauffer Pe

Kris Stauffer, PE, is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, including utility and nuclear facilities. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Energy Northwest since March 2014, Kris has held multiple roles, including Electrical Design Engineering Supervisor, where oversight of nine engineers and complex electrical projects was key. Responsibilities encompassed power flow, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studies, along with designing solutions to enhance safety and reliability. Prior to Energy Northwest, experience as Chief Electrical Engineer at the City of Richland involved managing electrical distribution projects and technical support for facilities. Earlier roles included electrical engineering positions at Fluor Daniel Northwest, ICF Kaiser Hanford, Westinghouse Hanford Company, and a rotational trainee program at Westinghouse. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor's degree from Montana State University-Bozeman.
