David Colbourne

David Colbourne is currently the Housing Retrofit Lead at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, bringing extensive experience as an environmentalist in the energy services industry. Previously, they served as the Sustainable Energy Officer at Sefton Council from 2001 to 2019, where they played a key role in developing projects focused on energy efficiency and environmental management. David also held positions such as Director at the Association of Local Energy Officers and Chief Executive Officer at Mersey Gateway Environmental Trust. They hold a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Wolverhampton and an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from De Montfort University.
