Nickolas Mamalis

Nickolas Mamalis is an experienced electrical design and construction professional currently serving as the Work Group Leader Distribution Design for Energy Queensland since October 2023. In this leadership role, Nickolas provides technical direction and manages the safe and cost-effective delivery of the integrated works program within the Design & Engineering department. Prior to this position, Nickolas worked as a Distribution Design Technical Officer and Electrical Designer/Consultant at Robin Russell & Associates Pty Ltd, focusing on residential and commercial subdivision distribution reticulation. Additional experience includes managing construction projects at Zinfra Group and overseeing field services at Energex, where responsibilities encompassed construction, maintenance, and performance management of the electrical distribution network. Nickolas holds a Master of Business Administration from Chifley Business School.
