Yowhannes Russom

Mechanical Engineer (project Engineer) at Energy Recovery

Yowhannes Russom is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project engineering, quality control, and manufacturing. Currently at Energy Recovery, Inc. since July 2019, Yowhannes has held roles as a Project Engineer and Quality Control Engineer. Previous positions include Inspector, Lead Programmer, and Manufacturing Engineer at Applied Fusion LLC. from October 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included progressive inspection and programming of CALYPSO CMM software. Yowhannes also contributed as a Systems Engineer for a senior design project on an autonomous vehicle at UCLA and led design efforts for an irrigation system in Oaxaca, Mexico through Engineers Without Borders. Academic involvement includes research assistance at UCLA focused on nano-antennas, as well as a project engineering internship at BART for the Warm Springs Extension project. Yowhannes holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
