Energy Resources of Australia Ltd

Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) is committed to creating a positive legacy and achieving world class, sustainable rehabilitation of former mine assets. ERA operated Ranger, Australia’s longest continuous uranium mine, surrounded by, but separate from Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory. The final drum of Ranger uranium was sold at the start of 2022 and since then the company has been focused on mine rehabilitation. Today, ERA’s strategic priority is the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Ranger Project Area to a standard where it can be reincorporated into the surrounding Kakadu National Park if Traditional Owners and the Commonwealth Government wish.
