Prakash Bisht

Prakash Bisht is an experienced energy engineer currently working at Energy Sciences since August 2023. Prior to this role, Prakash served as a graduate research assistant at the WVU-Industrial Assessment Center from August 2021 to August 2023, focusing on energy usage reduction, sustainable process design, and decarbonization. Earlier professional experience includes positions as a maintenance technician at Emirates Group, where planning and implementing maintenance for cargo handling equipment and refrigeration units was key, as well as roles as a plant engineer at Sujal Foods Pvt. Ltd. and a mechanical engineer at Reliance Sugar & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., where maintenance issues were resolved and innovative solutions for production were generated. Prakash holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tribhuvan University.
