Marcus Alexander has a diverse work experience. Marcus began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia, conducting research on Hydrogen distribution in the Milky Way. Marcus then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching undergraduate students in Physics and Astronomy labs. After that, they served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, holding roles such as Assistant Weapons Officer and Strike Officer.

Since 2015, Marcus has been associated with Energy Steel. Marcus started as a Project Manager, overseeing multi-million dollar projects for nuclear plants. Marcus later served as the Director of Quality, responsible for maintaining and executing the organization's Nuclear Quality Assurance Program. Marcus then became the Director of Projects, managing revenue projections, purchasing, and project estimates. In 2022, Marcus was promoted to the role of Director of Operations, and subsequently assumed the position of President.

Marcus Alexander has a diverse education history. Marcus earned a Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Corporate Strategy and Finance at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2018 to 2020. In 2008, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from The University of Georgia, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics and Astronomy from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Marcus attended the U.S. Navy Prospective Nuclear Engineer Officer (PNEO) School in 2014 to become a Qualified Engineer for the S8G reactor plant. Moreover, they completed a Lean Principles Course at Purdue Global in 2022. In terms of additional certifications, Marcus obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2016.
