Samuel Young currently leads the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence practice at Energy Systems Catapult, where Samuel focuses on innovative solutions in the energy sector. Previously, Samuel managed Data Scientists at National Grid, where Samuel developed analytical models to optimize maintenance strategies. Samuel also has experience as an Advanced Senior Risk Analyst at BNP Paribas and a Senior Business Analyst at Capital One. Samuel started their career as an Intern in Software Engineering at Metaswitch Networks. Samuel holds a BSc in Physics with Theoretical Physics from the University of Nottingham.
