Lizzie Rubado

Lizzie Rubado began her career at Energy Trust working as the renewable energy program coordinator, supporting the development of solar and biopower programs. As a senior project manager and later program strategy manager, she was responsible for new product development and funding development and was a charter member of Energy Trust’s Innovation Team. Rubado also worked as a renewable energy specialist for the City of Portland, where she developed Solar Forward, a donor fund to install solar panels on public buildings. As Energy Trust’s first director of innovation and development, Lizzie works to cultivate strategic partnerships, pursue new funding opportunities and elevate the organization’s culture of innovation.

She has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Whitman College.
