Gabriela Olmedo

Gabriela Olmedo is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and policy engagement, currently serving as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at EnergyHub since September 2023, focusing on legislative policy in the West. Prior experience includes a Policy Associate role at Advanced Energy Economy, where engagement with Nevada's legislative bodies facilitated clean energy policies. Gabriela has also held positions at the Center for Good Food Purchasing as a Policy and Programs Research Intern, and worked as a Consultant at BEACN on solar energy and zero waste initiatives. In addition to academic leadership as UC Green New Deal Department Co-Lead during studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Gabriela has engaged in various mentorship and community involvement roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and equity. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Science in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley and an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences from Irvine Valley College.
