Laverne Chan

Laverne Chan is an experienced petrophysicist specializing in business development, currently working at Enerplus since April 2013, where responsibilities include conducting reservoir characterization studies for acquisitions and divestments, as well as detailed petrophysical analyses. Previously, Laverne worked at Weatherford from November 2010 to March 2013 in various capacities including petrophysicist and application engineer, focusing on formation evaluation and well construction project proposals. Earlier career experience includes serving as a wireline field engineer at Schlumberger from February 2006 to January 2009, managing wireline logging operations. Laverne's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Reservoir Characterization from the University of Calgary, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of the West Indies, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
