Reimar von Wachholtz

Reimar von Wachholtz is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of the Schleswig-Holstein office at ENERTRAG since June 2023, where responsibilities include managing initiatives on thermal energy storage and negotiations. Beginning in May 2023, Reimar also holds a voluntary position as a Ratsmitglied in Stadt Ratzeburg, acting as a deputy representative of the mayor and member of the supervisory board for public utilities. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Innovation and Municipality Manager at ZVO Energie GmbH from January 2014 to June 2023, focusing on municipal renewable energy solutions and energy efficiency programs. Reimar previously worked in renewable energy production and energy efficiency, and served as a lecturer at the University of Applied Science Flensburg, supporting research in renewable energy projects. Reimar’s early career featured leadership in wind energy project development at Prokon Wind Energy Finland Oy. Reimar holds a Master's Degree in economic and administrative law as well as regional planning law from Kiel University.
