Akshay R.

Akshay R. has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Akshay is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at EnerVenue. Prior to this, they held the same role at Farasis Energy, where they were involved in the design of Li-Ion battery packs for non-automobile units. Akshay has also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Hybrid Design Services Inc, where they designed Li-Ion battery packs for commercial buses. Akshay has experience as a Project Engineer at InDepth Engineering Solutions LLC and as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Vehicles International. Akshay also gained internship experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at the University of Rochester and as a Product Design Intern at Fisher-Price. Additionally, they have worked as a Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they provided assistance to students in the Statics course. Throughout their career, Akshay has gained expertise in product design, injection molding, sheet metal enclosures, and using Solidworks for 3D modeling.

Akshay R. pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2006 to 2010. Akshay then went on to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
