Kevin Mukai has worked in various roles in the engineering industry since 1998. Kevin's most recent position is Vice President of Scale Manufacturing & Partnerships at EnerVenue, which they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering at Juul Labs from 2018-2021, Director of Production Engineering at Tesla from 2018-2021, Vice President of Front End Operations and Engineering at Thinfilm from 2017-2018, and Director of Manufacturing Operations & Engineering, Director of Factory Operations Expansions, R&D Director of Equipment Engineering, and Senior Engineering Program Manager at SunPower Corporation from 2009-2017. Before this, they held the positions of Senior Dielectric Etch Program & Global Product Support Engineering Manager and Dielectric CVD Key Account Technology and Process Development Engineering Manager at Applied Materials from 1998-2009.

Kevin Mukai has a diverse educational background. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Kevin then went on to the University of Michigan College of Engineering for two Masters degrees, one in Materials Science & Engineering and one in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they have obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in the fields of Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals, Operations Management Fundamentals, and Supply Chain Management Fundamentals.
