Kevin Welstead

Kevin Welstead has extensive work experience in the utilities sector. Kevin started their career in 1989 with Scottish and Southern Energy, where they held various managerial positions, including Regional Operations Manager. In their most recent role at Scottish and Southern Energy, they were responsible for the Tree Cutting Maintenance Program and the Street Light Project Team.

In 2013, Kevin joined SSE Enterprise Contracting as the Head of Business Improvement. Over the years, they took on several leadership roles within the company, including Head of Strategic Projects, PFI Operations Director, Regional Operations Director, and Head of PFI Operations South.

In 2018, Kevin joined SSE Enterprise Utilities as the Sector Director for Electric Vehicles (EV).
