John Metz

John Metz is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the energy and construction sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Eneus Energy Ltd since January 2024. Previously, John held significant roles including Operations Manager at United Engineers & Constructors, Executive Vice President & General Manager at Advatech LLC, and Vice President - Operations Manager at AECOM, where strategic initiatives in coal combustion residuals and wastewater treatment were successfully developed. Earlier roles at URS Corporation and Black & Veatch included positions as Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager, respectively, where John led major environmental projects and innovations in engineering practices. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
