Sumanth Chereddy

Sumanth Chereddy has a diverse range of experience in the field of battery technology. Sumanth started their career as a Master Research Intern at Banaras Hindu University in 2012. After completing their internship, they joined Temple University as a Battery Materials Researcher, focusing on electrolyte and separator development. Sumanth worked at Temple University for five years before joining the University of Rhode Island as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2020. After completing their postdoctoral work, Sumanth moved on to EnergyX, where they served as a Senior Battery Scientist from September 2021 to August 2022. Following their time at EnergyX, Sumanth joined Sonocharge Energy as a Battery Engineer for a few months before transitioning to their current role as a Sr. Staff Scientist at Enevate Corporation, starting in April 2023.

Sumanth Chereddy completed a Master's degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University between 2011 and 2013. Later, from 2015 to 2020, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry at Temple University.
