Jaime Bahamonde

Jaime Bahamonde has extensive work experience in the field of technology and IT management. Jaime currently holds the position of CTO Jefe de Operaciones e Infraestructura TI at ENEX since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Gerente de Servicios TI at Empresas La Polar S.A. from 2021 to 2023. Jaime also served as Director de TI at Santillana Latinoamérica from 2019 to 2021.

Their earlier experience includes various roles at Entel, where they worked from 1994 to 2019. Jaime started as Jefe de Área comunicaciones e infraestructura, and gradually progressed to roles such as SubGerente de Monitoreo y Disponibilidad de Servicios TI, SubGerente de Transformación Operacional, and SubGerente Provisión de Servicios DataCenter y Control de Cambios. Jaime also served as Scrum Master de Creacion y Desarrollo de Productos TI, where they facilitated multidisciplinary teams in Agile culture and new product creation.

Before their tenure at Entel, Jaime Bahamonde worked as Jefe de Mesa de Ayuda at Banco de Chile from 1991 to 1994.

Jaime Bahamonde earned a degree in Ingeniero Ejecución en Electrónica with a specialization in Tecnologías de la información y las telecomunicaciones from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. In 2016, they attended a Seminar on Silicon Valley culture at SV Links in California. In addition to their formal education, Jaime has obtained certifications in "Aprende Azure" and "Aprende big data: Conceptos básicos para IT" from LinkedIn, and "Foundation Itil V3" from Loyalist.
