Wycliff Ogembo

Wycliff Ogembo is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as the Engineering Team Lead at Eneza Education since July 2020, Wycliff has successfully rewritten the billing engine for improved performance and migrated microservices to container-based deployments on AWS Fargate. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Platform Engineer at Ajua™, where Wycliff developed the merchants payments backend for the Nigerian market, and a Senior Software Engineer position at BRCK, focusing on a critical points ledger microservice. Earlier career steps involved training new graduates in application development at IBM India and providing technical consulting services. Wycliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
