Pekka Virtanen

Pekka Virtanen is a Finnish business executive who has held various positions in the financial sector. Pekka is currently a member of the board at Enfuce, a Finnish sustainable energy company.

Previously, Virtanen was the chairman of the board at Nukute Ltd., a Finnish company that specializes in pre-screening and treatment of sleeping disorders such as sleep apnea, snoring, and bruxism. Pekka also served as the director of Crosskey Banking Solutions Ltd., heading the company's capital markets department.

From 1997 to 2011, Virtanen was the CEO of eQ Bank Ltd., overseeing the integration of eQ Bank into Nordnet Bank of Sweden. Prior to that, they were the IT manager at Alfred Berg Holding Ltd.'s Finnish branch and the software manager at Yhtyneet Kuvalehdet Oy.

Pekka Virtanen received a Master of Social Sciences from Tampere University, with a focus in informatics, information technology, and communications theory.
