Gian-Carlo Bava

Gian-Carlo Bava has had a long and successful career in software engineering. Gian-Carlo began their career at Unisys in 1985 as a Software Engineer. In 1994, they moved to SCO where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on OpenServer and UnixWare network drivers, delivered an ISDN driver solution, and ported a video capture driver and ext2 file system from Solaris to UnixWare. In 2003, they joined Engage Communication, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering. During their time there, they developed features for circuit extension over IP products, T1/E1, RS232/RS520, developed T1/E1 encryption product BlackBond, and developed LAN to LAN encryption product BlackDoor.

Gian-Carlo Bava attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
