Meghan Hunt

Senior Consultant at Engage R+D

Meghan enjoys collaborating with change makers, community leaders, and visionaries to advance their work. She is motivated by her many clients who support the underserved, from improving education and health to creating housing and employment opportunities. She uses her background in research, facilitation, and communications to form authentic relationships with clients and their community partners.

Meghan brings experience in community research as well as nonprofit management. She began her career running a youth mentoring program where she developed the organization's very first evaluation plan to measure program outcomes. This early experience in nonprofit evaluation inspired her to dedicate her career to working as a social sector researcher and consultant. Meghan is particularly skilled at synthesizing data in accessible ways that motivate action. Her master’s thesis on racial equity in policing for the Oakland Police Department earned her the distinction of Student of the Year in her graduate program and received coverage from several media outlets. She currently works with clients such as the Public Policy Institute of California, the DentaQuest Foundation, and the San Francisco Health Improvement Partnership.

When Meghan is not plugging away at a dataset or engaging with community members, she delights in finding new and creative ways to share ideas. She builds data visualizations, engaging presentations, and meeting tools to connect with and inspire her audiences. At Engage R+D, you will find her designing communications materials and anything else that needs a little imagination. Meghan is also fluent in Spanish.
