Ron Edwards

Ron Edwards is the Executive General Manager of Corporate, Ron is responsible for leading Engenco Group safety and workplace relations, marketing, purchasing, insurance, property, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), internal communications, assurance, and business continuity planning. Ron will also assist with the Group’s corporate risk program, project office, and investor relations program.

Ron joined the Engenco Group in 2005 after a 21-year career in Australia’s rail freight services industry where he held senior operational and safety management roles at the National Rail Corporation, Pacific National, and BHP Billiton Iron Ore. Prior to being appointed to his current Group role in 2021, Ron spent 6 years as Engenco’s Group Manager Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Safety, and 10 years as the General Manager of Engenco’s rail industry-focused labor-hire, track maintenance and construction subsidiary, Total Momentum Pty Ltd.

Ron has previously completed individual units of study at Deakin University in the fields of Human Resources, Workplace Change, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Management, Ron is currently completing a Master of Human Resources and Law program at the University of Newcastle.
