Naphtali Kwaha has a diverse work experience in finance and administration. Naphtali started their career as a Finance and Administrative Assistant at Kawahama Peoples Development Initiatives (KAPDI) in 2014. Naphtali then worked as an Accounts Assistant at INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FUND, NIGERIA from 2016 to 2017. At Mࡩecins du Monde, they held the positions of Finance Assistant from 2017 to 2018 and Finance Officer from 2018 to 2019. Naphtali was responsible for tasks such as preparing bank statements, overseeing administrative archives, and ensuring proper filing of vouchers. Most recently, Naphtali joined Malaria Consortium in 2019 as a State Project Finance Officer, where they handled responsibilities including issuing travel and activity advances, managing petty cash, and organizing financial documents. In 2022, they joined EngenderHealth as a Senior Finance Associate.
Naphtali Kwaha completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance at Bayero University in Kano from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they obtained a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the Nigerian College of Accountancy in 2015 and 2016. Naphtali also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, which they earned from the Federal University of Technology Yola between 2010 and 2015.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Naphtali Kwaha has obtained several certifications. In September 2018, they completed a course on Tax Environment offered by INGO Forum. In May 2016, they acquired expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards from ANAN. Earlier that same year, in April 2016, they gained proficiency in Electronic Accounting and Electronic Spreadsheets through a program offered by ANAN in partnership with White Knight Consulting. Furthermore, in September 2014, they received a Diploma in Computer Appreciation from the Federal Information/Resource Center.
