Simone Marini

Simone Marini is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in bioengineering and biomedical informatics. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida since January 2020, Simone has held multiple titles, including Research Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Scientist. In addition, Simone has been an AI Advisor at enGenome since December 2016. Previous positions include Research Investigator at the University of Michigan, Postdoctoral Fellow roles at Università di Pavia and Kyoto University, and teaching positions in medical informatics and mathematics. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, along with degrees from Università di Pavia and Tsinghua University.
