Richard Justice

Richard Justice has extensive experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Richard started their career as an Engineering Geologist at URS Corporation in 1998. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Engineering Geologist at Tonkin & Taylor. Richard then joined KiwiRail as the National Geotechnical Manager from 2008 to 2012. Richard also worked at Geoscience Consulting (NZ) Limited as a Principal Engineering Geologist from 2012 till present. Currently, they are serving as the Geotechnical Principal for Kaikoura South and the Geotechnical Lead of Transport Corridor Resilience at North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (NCTIR) since 2017.

Richard Justice obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Geology from the University of Canterbury, where they studied from 1989 to 1994.
