Job description

Enghouse Interactive is hiring a Team Lead in the events industry who loves delivering great customer experiences. We are strengthening our operations team and looking for a service-minded Team Lead to work on our customer delivery projects in our Mediasite Events team, which is our Video Content Management platform, in North America and beyond.

You will be leading a group of specialists with E2E responsibility for customer engagement, event deployment, and support. Primarily, you will work with our Mediasite software and event capture workflows and have accountability for multiple disciplines including customer engagement, project delivery, and customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational processes for Mediasite event projects to enhance service delivery

  • Manage, monitor and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of a small events team

  • Work with Human Resources and PS leadership to create job descriptions, hire personnel and develop employee training programs

  • Manage capacity and oversee scheduling of a team that includes Event Managers, Technicians, and Logistics resources

  • Foster and manage relationships with freelance technicians to enhance the Events team capacity

  • Assist PS leadership and the PMO to oversee department revenue

  • Manage the physical office workspace at 2909 Landmark Place

  • Work with R&D and Product teams to improve Enghouse software & hardware for events-specific deployment

  • Keep the Events team up to date on all Enghouse technology and processes for project and team administration

  • Develop and foster communication and collaboration between Events team members

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in the events industry with few years in a leadership role is a must
  • Proficient in English with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to plan and coordinate effectively with remote and hybrid events is a must
  • Experience working with video capture, setting up broadcasting and editing software required
  • Knowledge of A/V hardware and software is a must
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and event venues required (10-20%)
  • Good to have a degree in audio visual systems
  • Good to have a background in event production
  • Good to have knowledge (hands-on or understanding) of CMS or web development platforms
