Ryan Wong has a diverse work experience in the finance and audit field. Ryan is currently serving as the Head of Finance for Malaysia at ENGIE South East Asia. Prior to this, they worked at MRCB as the Head of Internal Audit where they managed and directed the internal audit function. Ryan also held the position of Head of Finance for the Engineering & Construction Division at MRCB. Before joining MRCB, Ryan served as the Financial Controller for Desmet Ballestra in China. Ryan started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager in Assurance, and also worked as an Audit Senior at KPMG and as an Audit Associate at Mazars Malaysia.

Ryan Wong completed their education as follows:

1. From 1999 to 2002, Ryan obtained a FCCA degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA.

2. In 2008, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University.

3. In 1997 and 1998, Ryan completed a Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives.

4. Recently, from 2017 to 2018, Ryan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.

Furthermore, Ryan obtained several additional certifications, including:

1. Diversity, Inclusion and Gender Balance from ENGIE in December 2021.

2. Construction Management Specialization from Columbia University in the City of New York in January 2020.

3. Big Data 101, Data Science Hands-On with Open Source Tools, Data Science Methodology, and Introduction to Data Science from Cognitive Class in October 2019.

4. HKICPA (Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants) registration as a CPA in July 2011.

5. Chartered Accountant (M) from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in November 2010.

6. Fellow of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in December 2002.
