Maurício Bähr

Mauricio Bähr is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Renewables for ENGIE Latin America since March 2024, overseeing a substantial portfolio of renewable energy projects across Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Mexico. Bähr has held various significant leadership positions at ENGIE Brasil since 1997, including Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer, driving the company's growth into Brazil's largest private power producer. Additionally, Bähr chairs several boards, including TAG, the largest natural gas transportation network in Brazil, and has played a critical role in the development of key energy projects such as the Jirau hydro power plant. Bähr's extensive experience spans multiple companies in Brazil's energy sector, with a solid foundation in corporate finance and business development bolstered by education from prestigious institutions including Harvard Business School and UERJ.
