Adeola Kagho

Adeola Kagho has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Adeola currently works for ENGIE Energy Access as the Country Head of HR in Nigeria. Prior to this, they held roles at Retail Supermarkets Nigeria Limited, where they served as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and later as the Country Head of Human Resources. At The Shoprite Group of Companies, they worked as an Executive Director and Divisional HR Manager, overseeing key functions such as retail operations, HR, legal, regulatory affairs, and compliance. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Manager and Trainee Manager at the same company. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Junior Counsel at Olufemi Dafosta & Wale Ogunade Law Firm and as a Client Service Executive at Tantalizersng.

Adeola Kagho's education history begins with their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, which they obtained from the University of Ibadan in 2001. Following this, in 2003-2004, they attended the Nigerian Law School and completed their studies to become a Barrister at Law (B.L).

In 2010-2015, Adeola pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management from Robert Gordon University.

In terms of further education, in 2020-2021, Adeola enrolled in the Senior Management Programme for Business Administration and Management, General at Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development. Adeola is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at SMC University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Adeola has obtained various certifications. Adeola became a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM in 2015 and also obtained a Human Resources Practitioners Licence in the same year. Adeola is also a Full Member of the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development, and an Associate Member of CIPD. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified Management Trainer from the Center for Management Development (CMD).
